Youth Ministry Prayer Network Email

Hey prayer aficionados!

Thank you all for your continued prayers. I feel like God has continued to bless our ministry in so many small ways that it is impossible to list them all, but that we can be thankful for His active involvement in what we are doing.

This might be a little bit longer email since we have quite a few things to be praying for.

Thank God for:
~ We’ve added some new volunteers to our mix They are awesome and I look forward to getting to know them better. We have also had quite a few people show interest in what we are doing and I continue to work through the volunteer application process with them.

~ I got to speak on the main stage a couple of weeks back. It was a great experience and I only offended a few people. :) I really felt like God laid out what he wanted me to speak on. I was slightly nervous for some reason, but God did some awesome work that weekend.

~ Our middle school house group is officially underway and going well. I think it is a great way for kids to connect in a much smaller atmosphere. I also like that we get to have more in depth discussions about the bible.

~ The new people that we added to our prayer network. Someday this list is going to be mammoth!

Pray for:
- James (one of our youth ministry volunteers) and Barry are over in Africa doing missions stuff. Please keep them in your prayers. My concern is for safety since they will be in an area that is not the safest.

- We are looking for a place to host the high school house group. We have leaders, but still looking for a location. And on top of that we are looking for something that is a little bit closer to the church.

- We have a fall weekend trip for high schoolers that is taking place towards the end of October. It is going to be a great experience for kids to deepen their faith, especially in worship. We want to get the kids there that God wants.

- Please pray for the relationships between the leaders and the youth. That is always on my heart that kids get connected in some way and that they have people that they can go to for questions and advice in life.

Well thanks a bunch for your prayers.

peace!
